Installation art, This is not original, but certainly attracts a group of people. Taiwan used to be the main manufacturing base of umbrellas around the world. More than 300 million U.S. dollars in export sales each year.
裝置藝術,這不是原創,但是肯定吸引一群人。台灣曾是全球雨傘的主要製造基地,每年超過100億元的外銷佳績。

You can find out the famous goldmine town Jiufen (九份), which is on the middle mount in far distance, across the bay and between the trestles of this sculpture. Jiufen is a nice place worth to visit.
One of the ten new sights of the Golden Gate is also the most interesting sight of the setting sun. The Ishigaki people (also known as the oysters, the locals are nicknamed: seafarers) were created by the Finnish designer Marco Casagrande. Marco Casagrande lived in the Golden Gate of Zhushan. First, after spending a few weeks visiting all parts of Kinmen to complete the creation, he even wished that when he came back to Taiwan, he hoped that the people in Shijiazhuang were already covered with stone curtains.

This really had the wow factor you could walk around and inside.
After having to cancel a spring trip to The Smoke due to the dreaded virus we finally managed a couple of nights down there last week - thankfully before the exceptionally high temperatures of these last two days.
A packed couple of days included a visit to Tate Britain to see the Cornelia Parker immersive installation exhibition.
This image was taken of the War Room installation. Invited to make a piece about the First World War she visited the poppy factory at Richmond which has been making them since 1922. The red paper hanging from the roof and down the walls is the residue after the poppies have been punched out, which she felt were poignant in that the absent poppies were symbolic of those who never returned home. Thought provoking and moving, this was just one of the works in what proved to be a fabulous exhibition, and which remains open until mid-October.

City art installation on the sea front in Thessaloniki, Greece.
FROM WIKIPEDIA.
In 1988 Zongolopoulos introduced to the audience his signature artwork Umbrellas, a theme repeated the following years. Moreover, in 1993 he presented a solo exhibition during that year's Venice Biennale where his most remarkable exhibit was a hydrokinetic version of his Umbrellas series while two years later he was praised for another Umbrellas version consisting of static group of floating umbrellas based on diagonal axes. Furthermore, the sculpture was placed at the exhibition's entrance thus gaining recognition and publicity. The same year Zongolopoulos won the first place at the competition held for the installation of European artworks at the Council of the European Union's building in Brussels and thus his hydrokenetic work Umbrellas was placed at building's Cour d'honneur.
Sculptures of Zongolopoulos Umbrellas are also placed in Thessaloniki (in Thessaloniki's new seaside and outside Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art and Palaio Psychiko.
