Most of my inspiration comes from looking at others photos here on Flickr. As well, some of you are my contacts. And for that I am thankful.

Don't be the one who leaves now
Duke is a humble heavy horse who pulls a dray in a park in Glasgow for a day job. Few who see him will realise he is also the inspiration for the largest equine sculpture in the world.
Duke was one of the models used in the creation of two 30-metre horse heads that tower The Helix park development in Falkirk, Scotland.
The pair of heads, known as The Kelpies, are the work of Glasgow artist Andy Scott – and it was a former rescue horse named Baron, rehabilitated by the charity World Horse Welfare, who was one of two horses used as models for the massive steel artwork.

The horse heads are part of a £40 million project funded by The Big Lottery Fund to transform an area of industrial land into a public space, which backers hope will prove to be a major tourist attraction.
The artwork is based on the mythical Scots Legend of water-based spirits, or kelpies, but it was Baron and his mate, Duke, who were the real-life models used by Scott.

I know, another Rainier.... My last several hikes were concentric around the mountain because I knew that I was running out of time. I posted this one because of the wall though. You'll find them throughout the park and they are constructed unevenly on purpose so as to not draw attention to them by creating a straight line, they are further broken up by the random larger stones made to represent the volcano.
I watch a lot of Youtube..... :-)
This wonderful leaping horse, Spirit of Inspiration, was created by Tony Evans (see links) in 2008 and was commissioned by Liverpools Community College ! It is a stunning work of art in its own right, dramatic and beautiful, but its genesis is significant too !

‘Lay Flat flower arrangement’. I would never have guessed how many permutations there were to arrange just two items! After much contemplation, a whole load of pictures and even consultation with Jill this was the winning shot. Alan:-)……
366 - I’ve decided to do this to force me to pick up a camera other than when we are away on our travels (they will be posted as normal) - I will be interested to see what transpires, they will be varied I’m sure so we’ll see where inspiration takes me over the course of the year, hopefully at the end of it I will be a better photographer. Feel free to critique as you see fit, but please don’t feel obliged, I anticipate they will not be to all tastes. Have a great year and if you also have embarked on a 365 project then good luck in seeing it through, Alan:-)
