This photo is to the memory of Dame Vera Lynn who sadly passed away today. She brought such hope and inspiration to millions with her emotive performances.
The poppy is an enduring symbol of remembrance, it is also a hope for a peaceful future.
I love the green of the tree canopy. It feels safe and reassuring.
I'd like to share the woodland noises too... does anyone know the best (easiest!) way to share a sound clip?

The Memorial Chapel at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, CA, where my parents are buried.
The chapel was built in 1964.

I find it very inspiring when the groups have a theme.
My creation genes get triggered and I start seeing the world with different eyes to find something that can be fun to capture for the theme.

Frederick's Church (Danish: Frederiks Kirke) has the largest church dome in Scandinavia with a span of 31m. The dome rests on 12 columns.The inspiration was probably St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.
