While waiting in the front yard one day, for the Hummingbird to come and visit. All of a sudden this wonderfully beautiful Hummingbird came to visit our garden, for it's rewards of sweet nectar from our Aloe Vera Flowers. Such a extraordinary capture full of wonderful details of "Nature's Smallest Bird". Hope Y'all like it. !! Lol.

Well two weeks ago I got challanged to be a copy cat ^_^ Find a shot I loved and do something simmilar to it.
Everyone guessed correctly, Anita (Aka. HotBoxer) was the insperation for this shot. She did a stunning shot of Autumn.
I planed to originaly do a railroad track one, but yesterday we went to a new trail never been on before. We went down a rock to the waters edge, Cody was running around and it hit me what I could do. With the sun begind him it was perfect, I always wanted a shot like this.

This was my first capture while gathering my gear, clothes and insperation. I parked my car up on a nearby hill, (that' s about a 100 feet b.t.w. - otherwise most countryside is flat here)Tongue to see if I could get any photo's of the coming Sunrise.
GBRF 66751 hauls EMU translator coaches through a very wet Dumfries. The leading vehical 64664 is named Liwit,with 64707 named Labezerin on the rear. 66751 is named Insperation Delivered Hitachi Rail Europe! Who thinks these names up. You can just see Dave from Lockerbie a bit further down the platform
Last week we got called 3rd! Wow! Thank You! I wasn't expecting that at all and its the highest placing we have recieved in this competition so far. I hope that me and Xion can continue to be deliver good enough photos in order to stay in this competition!
So for this weeks theme we had to be 'Gaga 4 Gaga' which ment our models had to model fashions inspired by the legendary queen of pop, Lady GaGa! The insperation for my photo is this one; michaelpeck.files.wordpress.com/2010/04/lady-gaga-david-l.... Hopefully you can see the insperation I used! This theme was quite difficult actually and I spent alot of time doing Xion's hair (it took a lot of hairspray!) and making the newspaper outfit. Hopefully we fit the brief and hopefully we will get to stay another week in the competition!

SO, what do you do when you lack insperation and have no desire to post the image you took? Alter it! :) Ok, you all know, I am not that big on post processing, and even though I have been getting into LightRoom, I still keep things quite basic! However, tonight, I took serveral images and they were all lacking something! They just did not do it for me. So, I played around with the colors a bit and came up with this. I actually started with a different picture and it worked. I took this one, applied the same settings and it looked SO much better. Now, I know, the image is a bit dark. But so was the day! :) This almost looks like a beautiful day turning south quickly!

On my recent trip to San Diego I walked around Balboa Park and Old Town. Preparations for the Day of the Dead were being made and I loved seeing all the bright and colorful decorations. These pictures are photos I took while down in San Diego and served as inspiration for this build.

In a town in the woods at the top of a hill
There's a house where no one lives
So you take a big bag of your big city money there and buy it
Then at night when you're all alone
And the house is dark there's a noise upstairs
At the top of the stairs there's a door so you take a deep breath and try it

In the morning you head into town cause you want to go antiquing
In the store there's a strange old man
With a wandering eye and a withered hand
When he hands you the old wooden box you can hear his old bones creaking
And you know what you will find inside the moment that you see
That someone carved your name into the tarnished silver key
And there's a creepy doll
That always follows you

In trying to do this refocus, change focal lens shit I realise just how talented { tcb } is. I haven't even made an attempt at trying to get things in the right place. Crap location too as I was trying it out in the drive while the family sleep!!

Here we see passing in Deurne,NL, ERS 189 206 met 'n container-shuttle! The ERS loco had since a couple of days a new outfit! The text on the loc is Vincent van Gogh,a Dutch painter, 125 years of insperation!
Always have to bring along your cross bow! Just incase those bears try to join you at the dinner table.

Little build I did this morning. I think it turned out good. Alot of new techinques I havent used before. I'm not sure if that tree design has been done before. I kind of just made it up!
Alot of insperation for the tree goes to Mark of Falworth.

One of the shots form mine and mikeys last trip out before his school starts again on Monday. Hopefully you will be seeing more stuff from him, although he is suffering from orbers finger at the minute. Thanks go to Wes Whaley for the insperation of the circle maker. Please check out his stuff, a master at work.

Do not try to understand all of the images shown, but just let them affect you. Even after two rounds of wandering, are you able to discover a pattern? Is there a common theme or common thread? Crazy, crazier, craziest seems to be the only connection and thing in common in this colorful collection of 'Anja's Surrealism'.
Hope it gets to you. Whether it is the quantity, the colors, the contrasts - no idea, but the longer you walk between them, the closer they get.
