Congressman Ed Royce, Senator Jeff Flake, and Professor Judi Wakhungu will provide keynote addresses. Ensuing panels will examine the latest policy initiatives and proposals aimed at combating wildlife crime in Africa and remedying its ill-effects on states and communities; analyze the human and international security challenges posed by the poaching and trafficking crisis; and highlight successful on-the-ground models for conservation and security.
Senior citizens and the elderly are often faced with food insecurity due to significant life events. After recently losing his wife, James Hayes has had to move from his home, and cannot physically fix meals for himself due to partial blindness. He relied on his late wife for most of his meals. On November 23, 2015 James Hayes reaches into his refrigerator for a snack that he can make himself.

Today we donated 120,000 servings of protein to Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana. This donation is a continuation of our ‘Helping Hungry Homes’ initiative to help feed families in our nation who are food insecure.
23 February 2017, Freetown - The second edition of the Regional Overview of Food Insecurity in sub-Saharan Africa (2016) reveals that some 153 million people, representing about 26 percent of the population above 15 years of age in sub-Saharan Africa, suffered from severe food insecurity in 2014/15.

I always have the urge to keep my mouth shut, to not be seen, to not be noticed. I'm working hard to overcome my insecurities, but this picture captures how I feel in a lot of social situations.
You leave your keys up front in exchange for these plastic cards with a hole punched in the side. These cards slide into the locker locks to free the key in the warding.

she's very insecure & when she's feeling particularly needy she'll situate herself in such a way that she's covered on all sides. in this case it was the closet door on one side, a bookcase in front of her, a large laundry bag behind her, and myself & the bedside table & tv tray on the near side. she turned her head toward the door because i was pointing the camera at her too long & she hates that.
It would seem the more weight I lose, the more self-loathing I can become. When is good enough *good enough*? I have finally found myself in a size 8 pant. Sure, for many it is a huge size - however, for me it is a huge accomplishment. I am proud to say, mostly, I am able to see myself as an ever evolving work of art; made more beautiful with the markings of age and motherhood. I must admit, though, sometimes Flickr can bring out my ugly ego's insecurities, as I compare myself to everyone but myself. There are some physically perfect photographers here. They are beautiful and talented. They are. YOU are. But I also understand, if *I* can't honestly see myself as an equal, no one else can.
