Braconid wasp. Although I didn't catch it, this seemed to be displaying by raising it's wings in the air
I want to say his name, but fails to decipher. Whoever wants to can let me know here, his height is only a few millimeters, comparable with a mosquito
Noticed a few black ants beginning to show some activity so I baited the top of a milk bottle with a drop of honey
Dude. DUDE. The front of a dragonfly's head looks like some kind of hobo king mask. WTF. Bugs up close are awesome.
There are times I am SO glad I am not a flying insect! Wished I could have released him but I would have harmed him more if I had tried.
Few more of these appearing in the garden - think this is fairly recently hatched judging by the pale eye colour.
