Narcissus fly hoverfly, Meredon equestris

Potter wasp looking for caterpillars in my potentilla bush. It's found something and I think is stinging it. Now trying to pull it out but it won't come that way - tries another route. Got it - ready to take back to it's nest and pack away with an egg. Probably Ancistrocerus sp.

Not sure what it is , any input from insects lovers out there? Finally got it it , it's a longhorn bee .
