A new one for my butterfly set, a male Black Swallowtail (Papilio polyxenes). He's a little worn at the edges, but still a handsome fellow.

Still to be named and was taken in Sri Lanka, February 2014.

Found several bush crickets on the top of my rhodies looking as if they were searching for a mate so I put two of them together and all I got was a bit of antennae touching and then they walked off in opposite directions. Flash shot. Both missing rear hind legs

コスモスを撮っていたら、カマキリの赤ちゃんが飛んできて私の左手中指にとまりました。

カマキリは苦手ですが、小さくてとっても可愛かったです。

身体を揺らし、何かを探しているようでした。

「お母さんじゃないねん。」というと、飛んで行ってしまいました。
