Dusk descends on St. Patrick's Catholic Church in tiny Arlington,IL. Arlington is located just north of Cherry,IL.,the site of one of the deadliest coal mining disasters in US history in 1909. Nearly 260 miners,young and old,perished. Arlington, a bustling railroad town for the mine,never recovered....

I remember some orange lemonade with this name...
must be over 30 years ago... I don't even know if it still exists.
These grasses (maybe some kind of wild oat, I have to find out) grow in the Lavendula and wheat fields. They danced so gracefully in the hot summer breeze.
This is one of my own favourite photographs :)
Just looke it up: it is a kind of "Avena Sativa"... but the wild weed kind:
"Other species are nuisance weeds in cereal crops, as, being grasses like the crop, they cannot be chemically removed; any herbicide that would kill them would also damage the crop."
Couldn't resist taking this piece outside to capture the beautiful evening light through her beautiful curves. Wherever you are, whatever you're doing - let your light shine.
