Our little kitten MOMO sleeping peacefully this morning in the garden... right on the sunday newspaper... We had a most wonderful sunny and warm day today... the last day of my childrens' vacations. Some of you may recognize Momo... she is 4 months old now... and we kept her and her sister Namib... the whole family fell in love with them :)
Unfortunately I didn't set the focus right... it should have been
on Namibs nose and paw...but I liked the peaceful atmosphere
and soft light so much I decided to share it with you...
The basis of this digitally created Kaleidoscope/Mandala
is one of my photographs out of my series "colors dancing with light".
It is an experiment of moving the camera with open shutter over
colored materials & light (see more of them in my respective sets)
The morning sun was so incredible bright with all the morningdew droplet sparkling around...
*) Title changed ... inspired by BOTE_J's comment. Thank you!
This is a glimpse into the forest around my place...
The contrast between the dark stems and the
tender and lightgreen leaves is wonderful to see.
"There is something that can never be found by any amount of seeking but that something is only found by seekers"
I captured this one in the intense morninglightglow. The leaves of this tree (I have to look up the name...) usually are dark red - but with the sun shining through it obtained this colour, letting it look almost like made out of metal.
I captured this lovely flower with the most wonderful fragance of jasmin in the very
late afternoon sun...I love this soft light - gives it a silky touch.
This pic belongs to my series "LightWorlds".
I love to work with symmentries: this is the combination of two photographs: on original and the same just mirrored. The original photo (left half) was photographed with the camera - slow shutter - moved over colored material.
An inner rise gathers and condenses its light, shaping a presence through which reality begins to draw itself back.
Part of the series "Passages in a Fractured Logic — 2025."
Full sequence in my gallery.
Taken in spring... it was "sleeping" in my photostream (was one of the first uploaded)
Photo fiddler (see comment below - thank you!!!) found it and "awakened" it. So I used the "chage uploading date" button to get it up front ;))
Who could resist these eyes? My daughter wants to keep this young kitten very badly...
I realize I am starting to change my mind ;) (We already have 3 grown up cats... )
She got her name changed: from Nosy to Momo...
In memory of Iskra Liubenova Ilieva
I met her as an opponent player of mine during a MSN Zone backgammon tournament in September 2003.
When I saw her nickname I was sure that she was a Balkanian and she confirmed that: "Yes, I am from Bulgaria"…
For me, Iskie was one of those persons that have the power to transform the Internet faceless into a special feeling: that she is here, like to be in front of you!
Now, as i remember our discussions I feel so soft again like healing my anger or stress and I feel so sorry I didn’t copy anyone of our chats to read them again as an anthology of blessings and texts of high meanings…
When evening falls
She'll run to me
Like whispered dreams
Your eyes can't see
Soft and warm
She'll touch my face
A bed of straw
Against the lace
We believed we'd catch the rainbow
Ride the wind to the sun
Sail away on ships of wonder
But life's not a wheel
With chains made of steel
So bless me
Come the dawn
Come the dawn
Come the dawn
Come the dawn
We believed we'd catch the rainbow
Ride the wind to the sun
And sail away on ships of wonder
But life's not a wheel
With chains made of steel
So bless me, oh bless me, bless me
Come the dawn
Come the dawn
Come the dawn
Come the dawn

Rise up once more to kiss your white throat I may
Don't pass for one more trice,my fair, don't pass by.
Give Me Strength
This is my prayer to thee, my lord---strike,
strike at the root of penury in my heart.
Give me the strength
lightly to bear my joys and sorrows.
Give me the strength
to make my love fruitful in service.
Give me the strength
never to disown the poor
or bend my knees before insolent might.
Give me the strength to raise my mind
high above daily trifles.
And give me the strength
to surrender my strength to thy will with love.

My 43rd shot for One Object 365 Days Project. I'm quite happy with this one.
Looking forward to Lost season 4!
To some of my photogrpahs I add a virtual passepartout... kind of want to see beforehand how it will look like to be framed for the wall... Usually I decide for white passepartouts. Just for fun I tried out the black one... thouht the contrast is interesting. So here are both for my "virtual galley set".
TheI view out of my livingroom: I see the most northern vinyard at the river rhine, wonderful trees... and once in a while the most wonderful rainbows. This one was even double, but the second one (rear left) is hard to recognize.
I uploaded this photograph almost 6 months ago....... since it belongs to "my views out of the window" brought it up front.
Where the emerald light comes from...
This is the green background I use for my flowers sometimes.
The late afternoon sun will shine through and give it this
emerald like colour.
The Sea
Will be the Sea

As quoted in The Sun at Midnight : The Revealed Mysteries of the Ahlul Bayt Sufis (2003) by Laurence Galian
This scene covered zones 2-9, suggesting N-2 development. I exposed three
sheets of kodak tmy-2. Here, I've tried 'water-bath' developing, which is
not supposed to work very well with 'these new t-grained films':
a) pre-soak in water then:
b) 45sec in D-76 with aggitation
c) back into water without aggitation for a minute....
repeat b&c 4 more times
The neg is 'slightly' blocked in the highlights. There is detail
everywhere except the inside of the arch above the
column.... there is shadow detail throughout.
