To see and to be seen: the game of invisible mirrors
A dirty window doesn’t just reflect the world — it shows the traces we leave upon it. In it, our gaze collides with our own image, mingled with the surrounding landscape and the interior we thought was separate. It’s a silent game between looking and being caught in the gaze, between identity and appearance. Beyond the glass, we no longer know what is outside, what is inside, or where we begin.
It’s about time I uploaded one of my collages. I’ve been traveling after graduating university, and have not really had the energy to create a thought out montage. I’m coming back slowly, creating new scenes. This is one of my recent creations using 26 photographs from my images I used for my Dream Garden Project. Perhaps they will lead to another exhibition.
This is a symbolic visual representation of crossing one of many "life's bridges"
portrait of a fairy, ecstasy
Describing the Creative Journey through Photography:
When I step out of my home, whether for a stroll or an errand, I know I'll be taking photographs. What will I capture? I'm uncertain. The sea, the sunset, the city lights... I photograph whatever my inner being dictates. It's serendipity! Then, when I return home, the real work begins. It's the search for images that tell a story! And the hardest part is the selection—there are images where my inner being says, "Look," but in reality, I don't see the beauty that serendipity provided at first! Then, as I begin to see, comes the astonishment at what has been given to me! But the search and the choice were mine! Just like in life!
This narrative reflects the journey of capturing life's unexpected beauty through the lens of a camera, where the inner intuition guides the eye, and the selection process reveals the surprising beauty found within the mundane moments. It mirrors the complexities of perception and the value of personal choice in cherishing life's nuances.

There is, within each of us, a room without a window.
It is not a prison.
It is a space we once closed off,
to no longer hear what unsettled us.
But that room still speaks.
Sometimes through anger.
Sometimes through silence.
Sometimes through someone else.
It is not a fault to have a shadow.
It is a mistake to believe we can live without it.
For by fleeing what we carry,
we end up losing our only true friend:
the one we could have become.
—

The reason for posting this image is more related to my wish to convey the meaning of Araf (Purgatory).
But this time, it won't be straight forward as before... ;)
I could do it, because I am sure there are great friends among you, who care enough to do something interactive too and are not scared of diving deeper... ;)

in the smooth curve of her sunglasses, a man walks through the city without knowing he's being quietly framed, turned into a fleeting portrait behind polarized glass. this photo lives between presence and absence — a moment both shared and stolen, sharpened by distance, intimacy and unspoken observation. the city reflects itself back in fragments, and we become witnesses through borrowed vision.

************************ PEPITE D'ENFANCE **************************

caught in a shard of sunlight, she sits at the crossroads of palma's antiquity, phone pressed against her ear, her story folding into the stone and light. this corner of the old town, a whisper away from the royal palace and the cathedral, is her temporary sanctuary. here, the world narrows down to the conversation, the words that bridge distances, that connect, that resonate against the hush of history. the walls, soaked with the sun's last declaration, listen in. even as life's orchestra plays on, there, for a moment, she's an island in the stream of city life, her presence a single note in the symphony of the everyday.

Darker Regions...
I am alone lost trembling, confused my body turned upside down restricted blinded in darkness tears unseen cries unheard . I am lost forgotten dehumanised, none existential. A voice called out to me in the darkness to bring me hope and carried me home as l dreamt myself back into my innerworld in dawns light.
I am thinking about the struggles women and children are faced with every day who are bravely fighting for their freedom and rights and hope they are soon liberated and live life in freedom and peace soon. Prayers that all remaining hostages of Israel are safe soon brought home to their families' loved ones. ️🙏
