Passing Breeze
Yes, I know, this is nothing but thy love,
O beloved of my heart---
this golden light that dances upon the leaves,
these idle clouds sailing across the sky,
this passing breeze leaving its coolness upon my forehead.
The morning light has flooded my eyes---
this is thy message to my heart.
Thy face is bent from above,
thy eyes look down on my eyes,
and my heart has touched thy feet.

I still love the most wonderful light in it...
to me it looks like painted with light!

While on a family gathering in Winters, California, my wife and I stopped by Mike's Velo CIty bike shop. To my delight, right there in the main display window was this very nice steel bike of recent construction built up with vintage Campi components. A very pleasant guy working at the shop was kind enough to bring it down for me and set it outside for a couple of pictures. The builder is Kimo Tanaka of Innerlight Cycles (www.innerlightcycles.com) out of nearby Davis. It was a beautiful day for riding and the tiny historic core of the city of Winters was chock-full of cyclists.

I walked from Saybrook Point all the way to Fenwick (about 2 miles) just to get this shot. I snuck off the road and sat under a tree on the beach to get the shot.
