It was past sunset - though not quite night yet - when the Skeletons in the graveyard rose from their resting place. They crawled out of graves while others pulled themselves out of cracks in the headstones. A fine night it was for Beverly. Even skeletons had their fun.
As the skeletons started to prepare for the night, into the graveyard came a small troupe of robed gnomes. Dressed in dark robes and hats they shuffled between the graves. This was very odd to the skeletons as they had never seen the like of those people here before.
Imagine, then, the surprise of one skeleton as a gnome approached him to ask for directions . . . .

Why is it a woman will kiss a frog? Giving him a chance to prove he's a Prince. But a man takes a hard pass on kissing a frog even if he knows she is a Princess. This frog princess has been waiting a long time for that kiss. So long the dwarves have passed away and now are skeletons.
So we opened Halloween Island a couple of days before Halloween. Late as usual, sighs. Best intentions and all that but I had to go out of town and had eye surgery to boot. Busy month. So we're keeping it up through November so we can enjoy it. Hopefully you might enjoy it too.
[b]Halloween Island[/b]

[b]Snow White's Coffin[/b]
Now this particular sit is an empty Boudoir Snow White coffin at
maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Nykus/194/172/22
The first person to sit on the coffin will lay down inside the glass coffin.
If you have found a Prince to bring with you, the second person to sit on the coffin will have a choice of two Prince sits.
Other things of note on the island
[b]Pirate Skeleton town[/b]
The island is topped with a town of pirate skeletons. Just outside the tattoo parlor there is a free peg leg giveaway.
Then head towards the Asylum
[b]Cemetary[/b]
Left side of the Asylum is a cemetary. There are some sits on a couple of the graves so try it out. Some funny tombstones. And in the back you can sit with some skeletons hanging out.
[b]Outdoor zombies and skeletons[/b]
Right side of the Asylum is a set of zombies including a couple of sits. The sits with the standing zombies will look like they are catching you. The one where you're on the ground as if you have fallen backwards looks pretty good with a shotgun.
A couple of the graves here have animated sits.
There are some skeletons here too.
[b]Inside the Asylum[/b]
First Floor has a haunted room. Sit at the table. It has a bunch of scenes.
Also on the first floor is a skeleton poker room with some Halloween food you can pick up
Second Floor has a bunch of different scenes. An evil kitchen, a surreal Alice Wonderland room, a spooky bedroom and a padded cell. In the center is a sofa you can relax in. Tell your friend to sit in the sofa first if you don't think it's safe.
Third Floor is the Skeleton rock band and a bar.

Nykus & Der Spooky Haunted Halloween Island
Feel free to add pics if you come for a visit. It may take me a day to add it once you do as it goes into a queue. That's to avoid getting spammed with pics that have nothing to do with Nykus. I'd appreciate it if you added an LM if you're exploring around Nykus because there are areas that belong to other folks but I'm happy to include those areas too, not just Halloween Island. The LM will help if I don't recognize a place on NYkus. I'll pretty much recognize any place on Halloween Island because Winter and I worked really hard on it.
