A close-up of the floorboards, border and baseboards. The floorboards are Oak and were stained with paint before installation, and sealed first by Stays Clear low-lustre and then matte Eukula. The border was stained with paint and then taped out to created the stripes, before the darker stripes were painted on using bamboo, followed by the same sealers as the rest of the floor.
