I was out and about in the Murnauer Moos these days - right after the rain and before the rain... the air was so good, it smelled of forest, of leaves, of green! Breathe in - breathe out.
One of many incidents of vertigo on this trip to Hong Kong. Setting up the shot (doing my neck no favours, I’m sure), my legs went all wobbly as I looked up to the top of the tower. Urrgh…
Thanks to Michael (and he should surely, legally and morally, take all the blame), we found ourselves where we shouldn’t have been once again. I really don’t know how he does it- he has a radar for finding a way in that he wouldn’t have any idea of beforehand.
As the vertigo continued, I looked at the intricate overlapping pipes that wormed around the building. Beautiful in their own way.

I know, I know. Hong Kong, again! I’m not wealthy- I just keep spending all my money on going there. I don’t think they say ‘Fourth Times the Charm’ but this trip was just that - a success. For almost the entire time I kept my mental health issues at bay. It was a good trip. After three disasters - It is really nice to say that.

Shot on the solstice a few years ago, but it is a brand new edit.
This is a candid, unposed shot. I was shooting with my back to the sunrise at the literal moment of dawn.
While most of the massive crowd at the stones were just hanging, getting stoned (heck, even I was getting stoned via secondary inhalation as the stench of wacky baccy was everywhere) or doing neo-pagan rituals, this old fella was watching the sun rise.
If I can still feel the wonder of a sunrise when I am his age, then that's saying something. We take each sunrise for granted but life is a gift: as painful as it can be, it really is wondrous. Enjoy it and seize every day, my friends. Love every sunrise. Feel the wonder like this old fella.

Sometimes I can get caught up in the busy bee life. It can be chaotic! Grabbing a warm beverage and escaping into a peaceful spot is a great way for me to recharge. The pixel universe has so many creative spots to visit and explore.

Oakbank Pond Park is located in Regional Municipality of York, Ontario, Canada.
The pond is surrounded by tall grasses and bulrushes. The little wooden platform that stands above part of the pond has recently been redone. It looks similar to how it looked before except the railings are sloped inward, probably so birds can't land on them and make a mess.
There are lots of animals to see in the pond. There is a huge snapping turtle, (which looks like a lake monster with its spiky tail); there are smaller turtles; there are big dragonflies and there is a good assortment of waterfowl: ducks, geese and cormorants. You can watch the cormorants drying their wings on the little island toward the back of the pond."

I have been waiting for the ice access to the Apostle Islands sea caves since my first visit in summer 2012.
It was definitely fun to get to the "Ice World Disneyland". And even it was kind of tight for me, still I enjoyed my first visit with around 3000 visitors, which was actually not so much as I find out later.
A nice brisk -6 degrees for this shot. Trying a slightly different look and feel with this one.
