Ice still grips much of the wetlands at the foot of the Cathedral Mountains, though it is softening and the snow is now gone.
It's interesting how liquid water will look black in infrared, but ice does not.

I've been photographing with infrared since 2003, and this is one of my latest infrared images that I photographed earlier this month at Lindo Lake on a day with great clouds.

I've been taking infrared images for at least 15 years with a total of 3 different cameras. It's much easier to take infrared images digitally that it was in the film days. If you like this look, I have an album of infrared photographs, creatively named Infrared.
