A storm gathers near Grayrock Peak preparing to drop an early snow on the fall-colored San Juan Mountains in October 2023.
Located about 30 miles north of Durango, CO, this visage was a key influence in our decision to relocate to Southwestern Colorado from San Diego, California. The fall colors, rugged terrain, and proximity to mountains and the Colorado Plateau were far more interesting to me as a photographer than living in the suburbs of a major coastal city.

This "Permanent Pose" took place in the courtyard near the entrance of the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Granada, Spain. One of my favorite things about traveling are the Street Artists. I'd love to see the contraption he used to make this happen! HSoS!

The Afon Glaslyn is a river in Gwynedd, north west Wales.
While not of great significance in terms of its length, it is one of Gwynedd's primary Rivers, and has greatly influenced the landscape in which it flows. It has its source in Glaslyn, a cirque lake on the flanks of Snowdon.

Behind the Sun - Chicane
Usually, we hear music in the operating room during surgery. It has been proved that music at the optimal volume can enhance performance during surgery.
When I was a resident (early 2000) I remember that I listened for the first time the chill-out music subgenre. It was so cool. One day I was listening to a Ministry of Sound chill out compilation and a particular song stood out, it was No Ordinary Morning by an until then unknown artist, Chicane. I love the mood, the rhythm, the music. After that, I looked up for his music, and I wasn't disappointed, Their first two albums were amazing, a combination of electronic beats, combined with ambient and trance, some with beautiful voices. I recommend you that you listen some of his music.
