He who chooses the infinite, has been chosen by the infinite.

He has received the divine touch, without which there is no awakening, no opening of spirit; but once it is received, attainment is sure, whether conquered swiftly in the course of one human life or patiently through many stadia of the cycle of existence in the manifested universe.

- Sri Aurobindo.

This was my mother during a snowstorm back in the 1940's in Woodside, Queens, New York. I liked the background, but I wanted something more interesting, so I created a texture, (which I accidentlly deleted...grrrrrr! Fortunately, I saved it here on Flickr, knowing what a ditzhead I can be!) and edited out all the distractions. The effect really gave the shot the look of getting ready to go into the light, which my mom did on Christmas of 2008. This time of year makes me miss her even more than usual....

Another meeting, another hotel, another corridor. Repeat many times this year. I can tell you that I was delighted in not doing a 365. The stress level was way down. This may have to be my shot for the 52 weeks as this is the only shot I've taken all week.

Enjoy in the lightbox

∞ I love light (lumos!) photography. This is simple, yet powerful is it not? Haha, I'd like to think so.

Nothing is infinite, it's actually the opposite of it. But then we can go on infinitely talking about nothing being infinite... you get my point.

I watched the latest Harry Potter film today, premiere style! Never got to do that but a friend kindly gave up her tickets! ;)

I'll be writing a review for the school's e-zine so hopefully I'll get you the link soon.
