As dusk draws in a nice orange colour in the sky, casting a nice reflective glow from The Infinity Bridge on the River Tees
Taken in the Infinity Room at the Art Gallery of Ontario, this photo combines elements of surrealism in terms of seemingly randomized reflections.
From the infinity pool at Villa Molyvos Castle this morning. No worries about taking this camera into the pool.
"IN VANILLA"
This intricate bridge is a pedestrian crossing, The purple Led lights change from the purple/blue colour to white as you walk past them.
Took Dad and Nephew to Stockton to photograph the Infinity Bridge.

Three years ago today my companion of 22 years was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, a grade IV brain cancer. Following the surgery to remove the tumor, we were told that he only had, at best, 6 months to live. Still, every day for 7 weeks, we went to the hospital for radiation. He was on chemo drugs for 16 months until several tumors started to form in June of 2006. He definitely defied the odds!
He was the most intelligent and gifted person I have ever met. It was so sad to watch as the tumors ate away every sense of his being. He left me on November 6, 2006.
This ring is a melding of our wedding bands and the anniversary ring he gave me. It is a symbol of the love I will always hold in my heart for this dear man.
Its the reflection on the water that gives this beautiful bridge its name, completing the mathematical symbol for infinity ∞
'A time without end, when all exists for all eternity.
Fascinating paradox, this thing called infinity.'
A long exposure on a misty morning at Peveril Point in Swanage. I love the fact that you cant see where the sea ends and the sky begins. They are one; with only the jagged rock edge poking through.
With the help of filters it can benefit your photography in many ways, for me I love to use them to be creative - really making an image your own. This has been done before and will be done again however this one here, its all mine.
Have a great day guys and make it your own!
This fascinating sculpture can be found at the Eden Project as a permanent art installation. Created by Studio Swine this 8 metre tall ceramic sculpture represents a cyanobacterium. It blows rings of smoke which is great fun for the kids and is just weird and wonderful to behold. I tried to find a good viewpoint to show off some of the cool architecture of 'The Core' as well.
Hope everybody is doing great!! I have been very busy, been thinking about the place above and relaxing when I have time! :-))
Stockton-on-Tees
Had a little road trip up the north east coast. First nights bed was just a 10 minute walk from the bridge so just had to get out and take an image while I was there.

A warm spring keeps the water at Mud Lake from freezing. Cold fog frosts the shore and wipes out the view across the lake. On a clear day this would be a scene of a large lake with a mountain range behind it.
Linda says this looks like a pig's profile!
Sometimes I see photos of hotels with an infinity pool. This one is a water reservoir by the sea near Moeraki. Usually it is windy here but this morning was still after the sunrise.
"If the doors of perception were cleansed,
everything would appear to man as it is,
infinite."
~ William Blake
Had another trip to Stockton-On-Tees last night to have another crack at some Infinity bridge night photos.
Baby, this love,
I'll never let it die,
Can't be touched by no one,
I'd like to see 'em try.

This view on Scenic Byway 12 between Bryce Canyon National Park and Capitol Reef National Park in Utah literally took my breath away! If you ever have the opportunity to drive this approximately 130 mile stretch, it is well worth the effort.
For more information on the treasures to be seen along this Hightway click here: utah.com/scenic-drive/highway-12-byway . Highway 12 is one of the most scenic highways in America, receiving the designation of 'All American Road' in 2002. The highway has two National Parks, Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef, at each end and many other scenic points in between. With the exception of a slight crop, this is how the shot came from my camera.
Sometimes you find yourself on a road that you can sense is something truly special. It is not just the scenery it provides, like the orange hoodoos of Red Canyon or contrasting landscape of alpine and distant sandstone atop Boulder Mountain — though you can't take your eyes off it. It is something about the byway itself. It seems to have a history. There's something in the engineering. The thoughtful lay of the road, the way it connects with the land. It feels somehow part of the landscape. Such is the case with Utah's All-America Road, Scenic Byway 12.
On Scenic Byway 12, discover the vast Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument and the tranquil beauty of Boulder Mountain interspersed with national forest lands and state parks like you've never seen. Introduce yourself to the unique communities of adventurous and welcoming folks who call it home. Uncover a sense of prehistory that strengthens the fabric of this memorable road trip.
The bench outside of Target. I took tons of photos today, but I kept coming back to this one.
This is my photo for January 10, 2009.
