This is a similar shot of an Indianapolis church I uploaded yesterday. It's a 3 shot HDR but wanted to go against the grain and desaturate it rather than a typical HDR shot where the colors are very bold. Liked the effect it had so figured I'd upload it to see what others thought. Comments welcome...

Hey all! Another Indy scene from me (although I did remember, after deciding to do this one, that the Jungle Cutter just made an about 1.5 second appearance in the entire movie - but oh well, LEGO made a set of it, so I hope y'all remember it as well! XD) - and this one's from the Crystal Skull! And yes, I know I've missed a couple movies so far - I'll be trying to correct that soon if I can, :D

Required poem, XP And if you can't figure out

the tune (with a few interjections, yes, XP), what are you doing reading the description to an Indy build anyways?? XD Hahaha.

What's adventure's

Life to me?

Naught compared to,

Slicing down this tree!

Though I confess it,

Can possibly,

Be a bit drowsy

And lousy,

And frowsy -

You caught me.

Alright.

I admit it, I was asleep,

When he showed up,

Without a single peep (I was asleep) -

And through the windshield,

He let it leap!

And it blew us,

And flew plus,

Right through us,

Adieu us!

Just view us!

What? What?! What'd'ya mean he's the hero,

And not me!?!?

Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome as always! :)

(And yes, before you ask - I didn't want to cut my flex tubes, hahaha, XP)

I've been fortunate enough to share my life with some pretty cool dogs, even if only for a season. Indy is one such dog - he's the black Belgian Malinois running here with Evey, my personal dog (also a Belgian Malinois). Indy's a foster that I pulled from a Georgia kill shelter at the end of September; he's been learning all kinds of life skills and even some agility here, and the time has finally come to start seriously looking for his permanent home. I've become quite attached, so it'll be hard to see him go, but he's truly going to be someone's dream dog. Par for the course in rescue work; but in order to help more Malinois, I need to part with the souls that are ready for greater things.

Hoping to place him locally with someone who will continue his agility training and eventually compete. If you happen to know anyone in North Texas looking for their next sport dog, hit me up!

I may have mentioned on a few other posted shots that we were able to shoot a plethora of CSX trains on the Indy Line, which was decently busy on this nice Saturday in October. The most challenging part of the day was the lighting.

Here we see CSX train M217 (Twin Oaks, PA to Louisville, KY, autos) splitting the intermediates at a fast clip near Quincy, Ohio on CSX's former Big Four (CCC&StL)/NYC/PC/CR Indianapolis Line Sub.

I'm not sure, but I believe these tri-light signals have been replaced.

Maserati Indy 4900 at the Panthers Fathers Day Car Show. The Indy was named to commemorate Maserati's wins there in 1939 and 1940. The 4900 was the ultimate Indy and made between 1971 and 1975.

OMG I finally got to meet Mab and what a delight! She is the sweetest most kind person. She made you feel like you were the only one in the room and as if she's known you forever!!! She loved Sorbet and her little vintage outfit picked out just for this and she flipped over her Violepie Crown :D

Thank you Mab for your wonderful generosity of your time, I will treasure it always!!!

Indy had a good life and we were never apart for more than a few hours, I can't imagine what Lennox is going through in captivity but last night pictures were released which show the shocking condition the tender care of the council has left him in please put savelennox in the search engine to see the heartbreaking pictures. Please share with your contacts, desperately need to get him back to his family.

.

Indy would want Lennox to have a free a life as he had, please share with your contacts. Time is running out.

Just passing a message on from Indy to thank you all for the well wishes after his recent stroke. He seems to be more like his old self and the worst seems to be over as far as the stroke is concerned. Must thank Toni for her wonderful care package that arrived the other day, so generous and thoughtful.
