Back to the Dark City Deutschland with this monstrosity, this is Atotech an egregious company involved in chemicals and finishing coatings, turning over billions every year so more than likely they pollute the Earth and their CEO is a member of some twisted secret society, it really wouldn't surprise me! And god knows how much Wi-Fi radiation those towers are pumping out!

The clouds last night were moving quite fast and so having tried the Nikkor VR1 at 55-200mm it wasn't really happening for me, the focal range was always too tight even at 55mm. So I changed lenses to the kitlens at 18-55mm and the slightly further back I got the better the picture. Switching the WB to "Shade" gave this a brilliant dystopian colouration of a factory in a hellish apocalyptic world. Perfect to this collection.

I hope everyone's week is off to a great start and so as always, thank you! :)

Whilst out shooting a sunken crane in Kent this took my eye the way the light was on it, not sure what it actually is but probably an old piece of industry!

Work on Wednesday. This is one of those unedited shots. Wonderful day to you.

Copper and zinc were mined from extremely deep pits.

A busy evening on the southwest end of the Detroit River. On the Detroit side the blast furnaces of the United States Steel mill are working at full capacity while on the Windsor side the Canada Steamship Lines Tadoussac is unloading its cargo of aggregate at the Windsor Terminal.

I took this shot of Simkins Industries along East Street in New Haven, Connecticut with my J66 Polaroid Land camera on February 28, 1970. The factory has since been completely demolished. Behind this building is the United Illuminating Company plant, the Mill River and a single track rail line leading to Belle Dock at the harbor now used by Providence & Worcester RR. The company once manufactured paper products and would give away cardboard to local school teachers who showed up at the factory.
