A Puzzling Experience...

The weather the last few weeks has been pretty typical for November with strong winds, cold temperatures and rain. (no snow yet)

We have been trying to find things to keep us occupied in the house and brought out a few puzzles to pass the time.

This was a 2000 piece puzzle. it has been so long since we did a puzzle that we forgot how challenging puzzles can be. Perhaps we should have started with the 500 piece puzzle instead LOL.

Thank you for visiting for marking my photo as a favorite and for the kind comments,

During this self-quarantine moments, I have recently brought down some of my old storybooks from the top of the shelves & decided to read them once again. They remind me of all those good times that cannot be rewind, but give hopes that we can bring back our own happiness if we follow the right path!!!

Staying at home is a blessing, for us as well as to nature... I can see the trees are becoming greener than they used to be!!!

I love the humorous intricate puzzles of Springbok
.but may have met my match with this one. So much is going on here, the details are amazing! It has 1,000 pieces after all. Thank heaven I can blow up the photographed image to view the details without my glasses.

And, listening to the weather reports, the world is CRAZY everywhere!!! Take it easy out there
..this too shall pass.........

It's the Little Things: Reading a good book on a cold and cloudy day.

She wanted to read the Anne Frank Diary. And several people questioned her choice. "Are you sure? It's too hard for your age. Are you reading that book? Do you understand? Do you need help?"

I am glad that she was persistent. She spends 1 hour just to read 20 pages (much longer that her usual speed), has to stop to many times and use the dictionary to look up certain words and has to read slowly to really digest. But she is halfway of finishing the book and has been retelling the story to me. (Yep, insert mom's happy smile here).
