Indian Harbour is situated on the eastern side of St. Margarets Bay, Nova Scotia, and is formed by Paddy’s Head Island, which is connected to the mainland by a small wooden bridge. It's been in service since 1901 and the original lighthouse keeper looked after it until it was electrified and de-staffed in 1945. His starting salary was $100 per year.

Although this lighthouse is only a short drive from Peggys Cove lighthouse it receives very few visitors.

They are very common in India, and are usually solitary foragers but large numbers can be seen in the drier months when water bodies start to dry up and have a high concentration of prey. Hard to detect due to their camouflage being excellent and so can be approached closely before panic and take to flight.

Initially designed by Native American architect Douglas Cardinal, the building's distinctive curvilinear form, evoking a wind-sculpted rock formation, grew out of his early work and formed the basis for the overall design.

The Indian Motorcycle Manufacturing Company was established in the year 1901 in Springfield Ma. This is one of the very few motorcycles that I’ve never ridden. I hear they are great motorcycles and they are Beautiful bikes.

Survival with 30% of Maxilla broken.

Birds can survive a 30% broken maxilla (upper beak) through rapid healing, adaptation to softer foods, and but success depends on the bird's diet (insects/plants better than hard seeds), pain management, dehydration, and infection, as beak function is vital for eating and preening.

Indian paradise flycatchers (Terpsiphone paradisi) are noisy birds uttering sharp skreek calls. They have short legs and sit very upright whilst perched prominently, like a shrike. They are insectivorous and hunt in flight in the understorey. In the afternoons they dive from perches to bath in small pools of water.

Wikipedia: The Indian 841 was a motorcycle designed by the Indian Motocycle Manufacturing Co. for desert warfare. It pioneered the drivetrain configuration later popularized by Moto Guzzi, having a longitudinally mounted air-cooled 90-degree V-twin with shaft drive to the rear wheel.

During World War II, the US Army requested experimental motorcycle designs suitable for desert fighting and offered Indian $350,000 in exchange for 1,000 shaft-drive, side-valve, twin-cylinder test motorcycles. In response to this request, Indian designed and built the 841 (8 for the new engine design and 41 for the year). 1,056 were produced.
