These 'colours' are either used as dyes, during 'Holi' to colour the water that is thrown everywhere or as a mark that is put on the forehead or in the hair of married women.
I shot this panorama in an open market in New Delhi. In the middle of this bustling thoroughfare these woman set up stands that sell grains and beans. The colors are a feast for any photographers eye and the panorama captures the hectic quality of this beautiful outdoor market.
I never tire of the market places of India. This is the shoe market in New Delhi, full of color, people, activity. Lots of curious onlookers as I set my camera to take four photos that will comprise my Panorama.
