We saw these freshly cultivated paddy fields on the train journey from Srinagar to Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir, India.
Rice is the staple food in Kashmir. The summer month of July is the peak paddy sowing time. Agriculture activity was on in full swing in the entire state. It is a family activity, with every member contributing on the fields.

Shot in the North of India back in 2009, finally digitalised in 2015.
I used a Nikon FE2 with (sometimes defective - sorry ) Fuji 200. For most of the photographs, the lens was the Zenitar 16mm.

Magestic and definitely red. This is the India Red Fort in Delhi, India. Beautiful day for a tour there, it was very hot, but the sky was a brilliant blue that day.
This was the Royal Mughal residence in India until 1856,
