Fun with the California nebula in HaRGBL&OIII

Ha was added to the Red channel then combined to produce an RGB image. Then Ha + OIII was used a luminance layer and OIII colour blue was layered though a masking process in Ps to create separation.

On the far horizon, the setting sun.
Last beams of golden light search their way through the open window. A murmuring brook flows to the song of the birds outside. Wind gently brushes the cherry trees and carries the scent of flowers inside the quiet room. With a deep sigh he lifts his gaze from his graphic tablet, eying his work in a critical manner. Maybe it was time for a break? He turns towards u10. They've been quietly working side by side. It was a comfortable silence between them, that he rarely felt with others. A smile whisks over his face as he watches him.
A moment passes, before he gets up and disappears into the kitchen, only to return with a red fox cup, filled with fruit vinegar. He takes a seat on the edge of u10's pillow, gently he leaning onto him.
"Here.", he almost whispers, while passing the cup to him.
"Asahi-kun." A genuine smile spreads across u10's lips.
"Thank you.", he says accepting the cup. "We should take a break and stretch."
Asahi chuckles and thoughtfully he taps his chin with his index finger. "How about... would you like to watch a movie?"
"Hai!", u10 replies with a hearty laughter.

The sun sets behind he Absaroka Mountains in northwestern Wyoming. The peak on the left is Pilot Peak, elevation 11,522 feet (3,512 m), and to the right is Index Peak, elevation 10,709 feet (3,264 m). This view was taken from the Beartooth Highway as it descends down from the Beartooth Plateau into the Valley of the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone River. Geologically, Pilot and Index Peaks are glacial horns that were created as multiple glacial tongues erode away at a ridge and leave remnants of the ridge between them. The classic example of a glacial horn is the Matterhorn in the Alps.

The River Severn, the longest river in the UK, takes its rise nine miles to the west of Llanidloes high up on the slopes of Pumlumon, the highest point in the central range of the Cambrian Mountains. The Roman name for the Severn (the Hafren in Welsh) was Sabrina, and ancient myth tells Sabrina was one of three sisters, all water nymphs, who met on Pen Pumlumon to discuss how they might wend their way to the sea. Each sister took a different route, Ystwyth to the west and Varga (the Wye) away to the south, while Sabrina who loved the land, set out on a slow meandering course that led her far into the east. The spirit of Sabrina still resides in the sparkling waters of the river and nowhere is her benevolent presence more apparent than here, where she first set forth upon her long journey to the sea.

La noche dota a la Mezquita Azul de una magia especial que todavía realza más su belleza. Me senté en un banco y planté el trípode con la cámara, cuando aún era de día —por supuesto, después de tomar un té—, dispuesto a ver cómo lentamente el cielo y los muros de la mezquita comenzaban a cambiar, mientras disfrutaba con las fotos que iba sacando. El sol se retiraba sin prisa, y los colores se transformaban con una delicadeza hipnótica. Poco a poco, empezaron a insinuarse suaves tonos dorados en los minaretes, al ir encendiéndose los focos que preparaban la escena.
Un rato después, el edificio entero resplandecía como un dibujo de luz dorada, recortado con nitidez sobre el cielo azul violáceo del anochecer.
De repente, algo cambió. Los focos dorados se apagaron sin aviso y fueron sustituidos por otros blancos, fríos, casi quirúrgicos. La mezquita se volvió entonces algo distinto: una visión extraña, fantasmal, como si flotara en una dimensión paralela.
No lo dudé un segundo y apreté rápido el disparador. Duró muy poco. Apenas unos segundos. Por suerte, algo más que los 30 segundos que duró la exposición de esta foto. Lo suficiente para atraparla, aunque fuera una sola vez.
Pensé entonces que quizá todo fuese una metáfora de esta ciudad que respira entre dos luces.

At night, the Blue Mosque takes on a special kind of magic that enhances its beauty even more. I sat on a bench and set up the tripod with my camera — it was still daylight, of course, and only after having a tea — ready to watch as the sky and the mosque's walls slowly began to change. I enjoyed every shot I took while the light shifted gently around me. The sun withdrew slowly, and the colors transformed with hypnotic delicacy. Bit by bit, soft golden tones began to appear on the minarets, as the lights that set the scene started to come on.
A little while later, the entire building shone like a sketch drawn in golden light, sharply outlined against the violet-blue sky of dusk.
Then suddenly, something changed. The golden lights went off without warning, replaced by others — white, cold, almost surgical. The mosque became something else entirely: a strange, ghostly vision, as if it were floating in a parallel dimension.
I didn’t hesitate — I pressed the shutter quickly. It lasted only a few seconds. Fortunately, just a bit longer than the 30 seconds the photo exposure required. Long enough to capture it, just once.
And I thought, maybe it was all a metaphor — of a city that breathes between two lights.
