For every season covering the period 1920/1921 - 1939/1940 (inclusive) the book contains a full listing of Middlesbrough F.C. fixtures. It identifies the date, venue (home or away), opposition club, whether or not a match programme is known to exist, the score and detailed footnotes where ad hoc information is relevant.
Matches covered in this book include Middlesbrough 1st XI games in the Football League and FA Cup. In addition, Middlesbrough Reserve team matches in the North-Eastern League, North-Eastern Regional League, Football League War Cup, North Eastern League Challenge Cup, Sunderland Shipowners Cup, North-Eastern Counties Victory Cup, Durham Infirmary Cup and North Riding Senior Cup as well as Friendlies / Testimonials and other games played at Ayresome Park.
