DPAC protest at Dept for Education for inclusive education - London 04.09.2013
Campaigners from disability groups Disabled People Against Cuts (DPAC) and Alliance for Inclusive Education (ALLFIE) protested outside the Dept. For Education to demand an end to increasing educational segregation of disabled children.
This protest was one of four simultaneous protests taking place as the culmination of a national week of action organised by Disabled People Against Cuts (DPAC) using the campaign title "Reclaiming Our Futures", and were aimed specifically at government departments whose actions are impacting severly on disabled people - Education, health, Transport and Energy.
Following the individual actions, all four groups of campaigners merged on the Dept for Work and Pensions headquarters for a larger protest against benefits cuts to disabled people which, they claim, affects them disproportionately.

During Pride month in June and throughout the year, we celebrate the contributions of the LGBTQI+ community and honor their efforts to advance equality for all people in this country. As a part of the 2022 Utah Pride Festival in Salt Lake City, we participated in the parade with the USDA Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest and National Park Service.
The Bureau of Land Management is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment for its employees, as well as visitors on public lands. Every person deserves the freedom to live with dignity, safety and opportunity, no matter who they are, whom they love, or how they identify. Together, we can build an inclusive outdoors that is safe and welcoming for all identities and abilities.

My class & Me (well me, really) were deconstructing the Obama Inauguration Speech. I got them to identify all the inclusive words that he used. They looked at me blankly. I had to explain.
I'm wearing a thrifted 'Sara Jane' top & an 'Anthropologie' skirt that my friend Marge bought for me, homemade by me 'Dora the Explorer' necklace (there's a close up below from a year ago) bangles that were all gifts & plastic thongs from 'Target'. We are not allowed to wear thongs to school, but I've got a blister on my toe, so I sneaked around all day in them.
I was on an all inclusive package, entitling me to help myself to a wide variety of premium-brand drinks... and some soft drinks and juices.

The Sussex Building, at 1430 Larimer Street, was built in the 1880's, replacing R.W. Roath's Pioneer Jewelry Store. Offices occupy the Sussex, while Sussex walk contains a variety of Shops and restaurants. The building itself is copied in a Richardsonian Romanesque style inclusive of round arches.
In 1969, the Romero family opened La Mancha Restaurant in the basement of the Sussex, where it was reported that ghostly spirits frequently would bang on the walls and rattle the pipes. To calm themselves, customers would drink hurricane margaritas, which were mixed six gallons at a time every day at 9:30 am and 2:30 pm.
The Larimer Square Historic District, covering the 1400 block of Larimer Street, was the birthplace of Denver City in 1858, with false-fronted stores, hotels and saloons catering to prospectors and pioneers. The original wood buildings were destroyed during the fires of 1863, but the surviving second generation two and three-story late Victorian brick buildings date from the late 19th century. In the mid 1870's, it was the main street of the city, and the site of Denver's first post office, bank, theater, and streetcar line. By the 1930s, urban decay left a skid row of pawnshops, gin mills, and flophouses. The buildings were spared demolition from the sweeping urban renewal projects of the mid-1960's, primarily due to the efforts of Denver preservationist Dana Crawford. As part of the nation's first historic neighborhood revitalization campaign, a for-profit corporation renovated all 16 of the block's commercial buildings in 1969, providing mixed space for shops, restaurants and offices.

The 2030 Agenda calls on all countries to use trade to create a more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient world. We must ensure that the global trading system actively contributes to sustainability. Trade policies offer an opportunity to promote a broad shift in production and consumption that helps consumers to make better choices.
The European Union-Mercosur (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay) free trade agreement, recently announced after 20 years of negotiations, has not yet been ratified. If ratified, it would represent the largest trade deal struck by both the EU and Mercosur bringing together 779 million of people, 24 trillion dollars of GDP and covering 18 million of square kilometers. Representing a quarter of the global GDP and could also presage a redistribution of agricultural market shares in the EU, the world’s second largest agricultural import market, for US-based exporters.
The agreement may serve as a model for future deals, making it critical to get this one right. This discussion will consider fundamental questions about “greening” of the EU-Mercosur agreement:
How will the agreement impact trade in goods?
How will it protect standards, including environmental standards?
Can it promote sustainable farming in both regions?
How will it contribute to the fight against climate change?
Will commitments on environmental protection be enforceable?

Disability-Inclusive Education in Africa learning session, part of a learning series that began in September 2018 with three open webinars. This activity, funded by the World Bank-USAID Inclusive Education for Africa Trust Fund, was conducted in partnership with UNICEF and USAID. The learning event was co-hosted by the Kenyan Ministry of Education.
