The intersection of decision making. I've never been one to shy away from making important decisions quickly, but I found myself staying on the safe side the last couple years. Maybe it was an innate response to all the uncertainty of fostering my kids and the trauma that left behind.
I'm finally ready to take risks again, and I challenge myself everyday to give myself the green light even if I don't feel prepared.

What is important about female imagery for the divine is that it opens us further to the God who is beyond gender, and the Christ who has transcended gender. It also helps us to remember that our language for God is not literal, but figurative. A very important consequence is that, when God is spoken of in female terms, it enables us to see that women as well as men are made in the divine image and likeness, as Genesis 1: 27 asserts. It also helps us to recognize the ways in which the divine is revealed in female experience, such as birthing, nurturing, baking, leading the search for the lost, and persisting in quests for justice. Such imaging opens us to ways of seeing Christ and his mission fully embodied by female disciples as well as male, so that no arena of ministry would be closed to women. A gender-inclusive church could then lead the way to dissolve the persistent inequities between women and men in so many other arenas of life, for example, government, health care, wages, education, to name a few.

As duas fotos de baixo estão ainda piores do que a primeira, porque embora o sol já tivesse conseguido romper o nevooeiro, eles apanharam a luz pelas costas. Ponho-as porque, nesse dia, estes dois pequenotes comportaram-se de forma bastante invulgar. Passaram os dois imenso tempo no chão, a fazer vénias, inclusivé virados de frente para o abrigo. Eu estava quase a sentir-me uma divindade:)))

The two photos below are even worse than the first one, because although the sun had already appeared, it was on their back. I post them because, this day, these two little guys were acting in a very strange way. They have spent a lot of time on the ground, bowing a lot, inclusively in front of me (I was hiding, of course). I was almost feeling myself like a deity:)))
This flat rock is part of a rocked terrace that runs along the back of our property. In the morning we put seeds and corn out for the critters, and they like 'dining' on the flat rock. I have seen as many as five different critters at once sitting on it.
