We took the Oriental Pearl II ferry from Dandong in China to Incheon near Seoul, South Korea. It was a 16 hour journey, we were the only westerners on board, and we shared our four berth compartment with a Korean lady, her four-year old daughter and her mother, as well as two Chinese gentlemen. It was cramped but fun, we laughed a lot, shared our food and watched hours of Korean soaps on TV.

The former Korean imperial palace had pretty interesting architecture because the decorative roof wasn't a facade at all.

We came here to pick up dinner from a famous fried chicken place. I wish we had come here more, this is the only time I got to experience this part of Korea. So many places I would love to explore. [Incheon, Korea]
