Hoy las cabritas son uno de los elementos turísticos más atractivos porque permiten al turista apreciar de manera amigable y lúdica el paisaje, mientras disfruta del aire marino. El paseo tradicional que ofrecen los coches contempla la orilla de la costanera, tomando el sector de Infiernillo, donde se puede apreciar desde lejos Punta de Lobos, para luego bajar por el Parque Agustín Ross y el Centro Cultural hasta regresar a la costanera.

The origin of the cars or “cabritas” of Pichilemu is deeply linked to the history of our commune and dates back to the beginning of the 20th century when they were the means of transportation for passengers who arrived by train to the adjacent stations located in the towns of Alcones, El Lingue, Larraín Alcalde, until the Pichilemu train station was inaugurated on January 5, 1926,
Today goats are one of the most attractive tourist elements because they allow tourists to appreciate the landscape in a friendly and playful way, while enjoying the sea air. The traditional ride offered by cars contemplates the shore of the waterfront, taking the Infiernillo sector, where Punta de Lobos can be seen from afar, and then going down through the Agustín Ross Park and the Cultural Center until returning to the waterfront.

The inauguration of the complex at the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (FCFM) counted with a strong participation of the Center for Mathematical Modeling (CMM). Not only researchers and other members of the Center attended the event but also more of the half of the innovation exhibited were developed by CMM teams.
