Presidential Inauguration events kicked off on September 21, 2010 with a campus-wide international passport dinner.
We finished the tree house today (Saturday), to great excitement. I eventually intend to make a rope ladder I can leave attached more or less permanently, but for now we're using my extension ladder.
Micah was the first one out to try it. Here you can kinda see him through the leaves. The platform floor is just over ten feet from the ground. The first couple of times Micah needed help getting up and down ("I'm scared of heights, Daddy!"), but when I casually suggested he might be too young for the tree house he suddenly found he could do it all by himself after all.
