So many rather splendid locations on this coastline it'd be difficult to choose a favourite.
Woke to blanket fog and retraced our steps from the evening before attempting to capture the Milky Way.
The sun had already appeared above the horizon but the fog diffused the light to give these lovely pastel colours.
Not sure whether I enjoyed the morning here most or the morning at Dovercourt.
Sharing a photo from my days volunteering at the Future of Flight converted to B&W for your enjoyment and for a social media photo contest. You can see the original photo here: www.flickr.com/photos/futureofflightcenter/albums/7215766...

Yup, it's Blue Saturday (24 Dec. 2016) so here you go. Figured it was time to uncork from the archives onto my personal page some former Future of Flight work. To see more of my work for the Future of Flight in capturing this 747-8F, go to goo.gl/egllIZ please.

On one end, the last flyable Boeing 247D, with such advances as the the first such aircraft to fully incorporate advances such as all-metal (anodized aluminium) semimonocoque construction, a fully cantilevered wing, retractable landing gear and an autopilot (thanks WikiPedia). On the other end, the massive 747-8F that can haul massive loads across oceans with state-of-the-art fly-by-wire & a glass cockpit plus all the Boeing 247's features. Figured this composition was worth a share.
