We had a beautiful day of hoarfrost last month (no, that is not snow on the ground.....just frost) and I drove around to different places taking pictures in and around our area. It lasted all day and although it looks cold it was only just under 0, temperature-wise. (More pics below)
This is my last post before the holidays, I wish you all a really wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year!! I'll be back in January to catch up, all the best to you this holiday season. oxo

Macro Monday theme - in a row
My stippling brushes...craft stash to the rescue again today. An alternative to today's theme is in comments, I had a job to decide which to use. HMM
I am unable to spend much time on Flickr at the moment, apologies if I don't get to comment on your work or if I leave just one word or just hit the fave button...a very busy few days but hope to catch soon.
Sumac is typically among the first to change to autumn colors, and where I live, the transformation is already well under way.

#26 Still/52 in 2023 Challenge
for Macro Mondays for 7/17 for in a row. I actually shot one I liked way better and was going to use it but upon reflection with the space around the duckies it was a hair too large and I just couldn’t do that. Even if I cropped it, it didn’t feel right. So this is a different paler composition with shadows…. sigh.

These iridescent bottles measure just under 2.54 cm ( 1 inch) each in height and the width of the frame is 5.175 cm (2.25 inches) That said the bottle on the left looks bigger than the other but it's not.
