We're millionaires, we rule this land like kings, our stupid children get into the best schools although the only things they do well are spend money, do what daddy tells them, and condescend to all of you... Oh, and win elections. Your journey into voluntary slavery will begin shortly. Remember the rules. You're here because we're letting you be here. We can throw you out anytime. So; 1. DIRECCIÓN NACIONAL DE MIGRACIÓN Y NATURALIZACIÓN --- Well I spent four hours on Monday, July 23, in this building trying to get an extension for my 30 day VISA. I could not believe the red tape. The fine for overstaying the 30 days is $25.00, but I couldn't just pay it. I needed to have pictures taken and submitted, a lenghthy interview, photo copies of my passport picture as well as copies of the pages with stamps. Finally I thought that I was finished, but much to my surprise I was told that I could not pay the $25.00 ahead of time --- I had to return on Friday, July 27, to do so. I was really mad and everyone heard me. How crazy. That means that my time in Bocas would be cut short so that I could return on Friday. The other option of not returning to immigration and just heading to the airport on my 32nd day in Panama to fly home was not advised.

On September 9, 2010, Congresswoman Giffords met with National Guard troops who have volunteered to patrol the Arizona-Mexico border.
Giffords, who long has called for the deployment of Guard troops to Arizona, visited with soldiers training in Tucson and then saw them fulfill their mission on the border in Nogales. She was the first elected official from Arizona to meet with the newly deployed troops.
During her visit, she met with the assistant adjutant general-air of the Arizona National Guard and several hundred Guardsmen who are being trained at a Tucson facility for their border security mission, which is named Operation Copper Cactus.
