I'm in love, madly in love, funnily in love, ... so I see flowers everywhere. And her: I feel her everywhere, everywhen.
She feels me, too. She must also be in love.

"Motion blur”
Multi-exposure shots with blurred light painting behind. These are 15 seconds exposures!
This hotel room view was fantastic in daylight, but at night, food for vivid imagination of a rather phobic kind. Also, nightly reading of Edgar Allan Poe is not recommended under such circumstances.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. In two weeks I'll be down to capture some more photos. For now, here is a shot of the Imagination Pavilion. I took this one in the bright sunlight so it was originally horribly underexposed. With some tweaking and lightroom magic, I have an acceptable shot. Here it is, and I hope you enjoy.

It takes a lot of imagination to be a good photographer. You need less imagination to be a painter, because you can invent things. But in photography everything is so ordinary; it takes a lot of looking before you learn to see the ordinary. - David Bailey
I cannot deny that this challenge gave me a headache, but eventually inspiration struck as I was listening to Harry Connick, Jr., earlier today and this is the result - make of it what you will.
"I started with a dream / But came to a decision / I started with a dream / But now I have a mission / I have a goal / To see beyond my vision / With imagination / I’ll get there" ("With Imagination" - and just because this song makes me smile when ever I hear it here's the link for a live performance by Harry Connick Jr www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkppFkYmZ_I )

Last year, I started Christmas gifts for some friends, and then, with the birth of my first grandson, I didn't have time to finish them. I am happy to say, that only one year late (lol), I have finished Kathy's gift.
Kathy had a Marx Imagination Dollhouse when she was little, so I decided that her Kathy doll needed one, too. I thought it would be fun to reveal the gift here before sending it to her. Now it's onward to finish more gifts! :)

¿Alguna vez te has parado para darte cuenta

These are the Disney World Imagination! Pavilion pyramids at Epcot Center. After our meetings with Mickey Mouse we stepped outside to get some fresh air. My wife's two-year old godson yakked while walking in to meet Mickey Mouse so we got him some fresh air and that allowed me to shoot this scene using the gorillapod and a low railing.

MICHAEL JACKSON-Thriller
MICHAEL JACKSON Say;
-----------------------------------
It's close to midnight and something evil's lurking in the dark
Under the moonlight, you see a sight that almost stops your heart
You try to scream but terror takes the sound before you make it
You start to freeze as horror looks you right between the eyes
You're paralyzed
'Cause this is thriller, thriller night
And no one's gonna save you from the beast about strike
You know it's thriller, thriller night
You're fighting for your life inside a killer, thriller tonight
You hear the door slam and realize there's nowhere left to run
You feel the cold hand and wonder if you'll ever see the sun
You close your eyes and hope that this is just imagination, girl!
But all the while you hear the creature creeping up behind
You're out of time
'Cause this is thriller, thriller night
There ain't no second chance against the thing with forty eyes, girl
Thriller, thriller night
You're fighting for your life inside a killer, thriller tonight
Night creatures calling, the dead start to walk in their masquerade
There's no escaping the jaws of the alien this time
(They're open wide)
This is the end of your life
They're out to get you, there's demons closing in on every side
They will possess you unless you change that number on your dial
Now is the time for you and I to cuddle close together, yeah
All through the night I'll save you from the terror on the screen
I'll make you see
That this is thriller, thriller night
'Cause I can thrill you more than any ghost would ever dare try
Thriller, thriller night
So let me hold you tight and share a
Killer, diller, chiller, thriller here tonight
'Cause this is thriller, thriller night
Girl, I can thrill you more than any ghost would ever dare try
Thriller, thriller night
So let me hold you tight and share a killer, thriller, ow!
(I'm gonna thrill ya tonight)
Darkness falls across the land
The midnight hour is close at hand
Creatures crawl in search of blood
To terrorize y'alls neighborhood
I'm gonna thrill ya tonight, ooh baby
I'm gonna thrill ya tonight, oh darlin'
Thriller night, baby, ooh!
The foulest stench is in the air
The funk of forty thousand years
And grizzly ghouls from every tomb
Are closing in to seal your doom
And though you fight to stay alive
Your body starts to shiver
For no mere mortal can resist
The evil of the thriller

One of our scavenger items was “something money can’t buy”. All I could come up with was a Beatles lyric- “can’t buy me love” but I figured that would get snapped up quickly. Then I saw this ad on tv for an eye condition and thought that imagination can’t be bought but it can be nurtured!
One of the things I’ve learned is: “mystery is the imaginations best friend”. You cannot see her face but human nature will always put a beautiful look on a concealed identity, especially if the subject happens to be a young female with long blonde hair. I shot this candid on a crisp November day, my imagination made her beautiful in my mind; hence this picture is entitled “Beautiful November”.
Looking for more in-depth viewing as well presentation, why because the most time I've spent with the Nikon D7100,, per say the D810 also provides more content but the challenge here is New ! appears to have an inherent fringe of discoloration at the perimeter of objects ! thus have little experience as to how to or adjust ! in addition photo rotation / resizing. contrast, and saturation techniques as well made adjustments ! so Never let ignorance interfere with learning new challenges ! capturing what the minds eye invisions Enjoy ! come and sit awhile !
Imagine it's August 1969 in Portola, CA. Wildfires across Northern California taint the western skies. WP 707 sits in the Portola Yard, waiting to lead a westbound train towards the Feather River Canyon. In the distance, the caboose on an Oroville bound train clears the yard. Yes, this was shot in August 2018 at the Western Pacific Railroad Museum. But, for a brief moment, it's the late 60's all over again.

I shot this for the Macro Mondays group theme of Imagination: 24/01/2011.
Just imagine! This is anything you want it to be!
Personally, I want it to be part of my project 365 series! :)

Located a short distance from the MSP airport and downtown Minneapolis, the Mall of America in Bloomington is the second most popular tourist destination in the United States. The mall opening across the street from the old Met Center (now IKEA) in 1992--I was there that day! All things factored in, this is the largest entertainment/mall complex in the world with over 500 shops, cinema, LEGO Imagination Station, underground aquarium, indoor theme park, flight simulator, mini-golf, restaurants, bars, and more.
