Whoever you are......
No matter how lonely
The world offers itself to your imagination

Everybody's looking for a something
One thing that makes it all complete
When you've found that special thing....
You're flying without wings

What will you and/or your kids pretend to be on christmas morning?
Christmas came a little early at my house, I got the 2011 Holiday Set #2! The rest of the things in the box I don't get till the 25th. This is the first set I've got that has 1x1 round tiles (that's right, round TILES!) you get 3!
Hope everyone has a happy holiday and gets lots of LEGO :-)
-You're welcome to blog my pictures, but please provide a link to your blog in the comments so I know where to visit, thanks!-
Whilst wondering through the woodlands surrounding the Nine Ladies Stone Circle in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales, we came across this beautiful tree. I can see an elephant, what about you??
Who would like to travel with me over to Epcot to visit that lovable creature who lives at the Imagination Institute? I remember as a kid, when they would have the figment character in the park. Does anybody know if he still exists? I took this shot one night after park closing when a security guard was nice enough to tell me to take my time and shoot all the pics I like, which leads me with my tip of the day. When you want to shoot Epcot after closing, either go for the countries or go to Future World where they have a restaurant. The reason for this is the fact that they cant close the park until the people are finished eating. Have a great day!
Following up yesterday's shot of the two characters who once made the Journey into Imagination pavilion so great, here is the only thing that remains great about the pavilion: the exterior.
For the processing here, I tried to perform the difficult task of balancing the brighter ambient light of the sky with the darker pyramids and fountains. I have seen a lot of sunset shots of this area lately in which the pavilion is unnaturally bright, and I have been guilty of processing shots in that manner myself, but I tried to avoid doing that here, as, like I said, it looks unnatural. I still brought the foreground brightness up a bit, but hopefully it still looks natural.
Solitaires et latérales, un éperon court, elles peuvent être violettes, pourpres, bleues, jaunes ou blanche (etc.)…
Leurs stipules sont palmatilobées ou bien palmatiséquées. Les pensées sont profondes !
"The heart of the city street was beating
Lights from the neons
Turned the dark to day
We had to get out
Before the magic got away
We were running with the night
Playingin the shadow
Till the morning light
We were running away
From imagination..."

For Macro Monday - Theme Imagination
Below is the larger view of this flower head, it is an Australian Banksia.
As the flower spikes or heads age, the flower parts dry up and may turn shades of orange, tan or dark brown colour, before fading to grey over a period of years. Perhaps the best known cultural reference to Banksia is the "big bad Banksia men" of May Gibbs' children's book Snugglepot and Cuddlepie. Gibb's "Banksia men" are modelled on the appearance of aged Banksia "cones", with follicles for eyes and other facial features.
Seen in a beautiful cafe on the central coast named the Bamboo Buddha.
Whenever I hear the word imagination
this music (originally sung by Gene Wilder in the chocolate room from the 1971 movie "Willy Wonka..." automatically begins to play in my head:
Hold your breath,
make a wish,
count to three:
Come with me, and you'll be
In a world of pure imagination
Take a look and you'll see
Into your imagination
We'll begin, with a spin
Traveling in a world of my creation
What we'll see will defy explanation
And if you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Want to change the world?
There's nothing to it
There is no life I know
To compare with pure imagination
Living there, you'll be free
If you truly wish to be
And if you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Want to change the world?
There's nothing to it
There is no life I know
To compare with pure imagination
Living there, you'll be free
If you truly wish to be.

If you listen to the song you will know why I have chosen this instrument.
Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.
