I made many other versions of this shot but always came back to this one. The flag's colors just jump out at you, and I resisted lighting the beacon of hope because the picture didn't need it.

A triptych of a dramatic landscape near Keswick in the Lake District. I am experimenting with th e triptychs by including a slightly transparent background containing the same image.
Flawed attempt to dramatize a stormy picture of houses in Maine by the sea. I made this image a few months ago and forgot about it until I came across it as a thumbnail - and had no idea what it was! Its not how I wanted it to come out, but upon seeing it again decided to post it. This is flickr, and if I waited for something to be perfect I'd never post anything.
A decorative planter on a table at a nearby eatery became a subject for several image manipulations with the software app called Affinity Photo 2.
I don't usually like to edit photos THIS much, but just for practice.
The lighting in the church was a NIGHTMARE! There were tall stained glass windows all around and light was pouring in from one side.
The following had to be done to restore this otherwise unpresentable photo:
- Major Shadow Reduction
- Color correction
- Skin Smoothing
- Gap removal
- Dress, veil, and bouquet whitened
- Whitening of eyes and teeth
- Enhancement of background
- Softening of light on face

Same tree as my previously posted very yellow Sunshine Tree, but this one has more normal colors. I made about 15 versions of this image, and the Sunshine Tree and this one are my favorites.
