This is something that has been bothering me greatly lately....people who talk a lot of shite about others and act like they aren't guilty of anything.
Just because a jackass is being a jackass....don't join in and look like one because he is.
Shake your head, feel sorry for the person, and walk your own way.
I'm not speaking down, I've been there myself. Too many times.
But, remember, no man can argue alone.
I apologize for venting. I had a long day, and I was pretty damn surly. ;-)

In Japan, for safety's concern, it is forbidden for non-related people to get into places like elementary school, junior and senior high school. Though in Taiwan the school playground becomes public space, for people who would like to jog, play tennis and basketball etc. It is one of the consequences of poor urban design, in which our kid's safety is at stake.

I sang at Youth Day again, and at rehearsal the night before, this little microphone (and the other three) kept shocking everyone!
well, you can thank me again for posting this late :) I had a whole crap load of personal stuff I was gonna tell you about myself... but I've chosen to spare you (you're welcome mike.)
I'll summarize: these socks were a gift from Vivian a couple years ago for xmas. She picked them out herself :) They are my work socks (yes, I have work socks. they get stained from my red shoes) It can get a little embarrassing if pts see them b/c I don't *really* think I'm cute (that's the diatribe I'm sparing you); I just wear them b/c Viv loves when I do, and now they are part of my work sock collection.
Yep...I'm getting there...and I'm a little freaked out. I have to have this big cha-bang and uh, well I have nothing planned. I still have time. But not that much time. In fact, I have quite a few more pics to post just to be caught up! But, I'm so in love with photography right now that I'm not even upset about it. And I will admit that while I tried out lightroom on this image, the flare is all natural =) I love window light!
She made it to day two, ladies & gentlemen.
Ummmm, this is no small feat.
Especially considering what the holidays have done to me. I'm still trying to crawl out of the funk and so sometimes things as simple as uploading images becomes difficult, know what I mean?

Tomorrow(Feb 7th) would be the one year anniversary of Black Saturday, which occur in the state of Victoria last February. Bushfire is nothing new to Australian, but last year's catastrophe caused the worse damage ever. The high temperature and strong north wind made the most deadly combination, claimed more than one hundred lives.
For those who have made it through, the Black Saturday never leave, it becomes the constant companion. Whenever the temperature rises or the northlie blows, the horrible feeling strikes. People who chose to move, settle down at the location without the presence of gum tree. People who chose to stay and rebuild, prepare to live like seasonal gypsies.
In some case families have been torn apart by these decisions.
I've been able to witness the beautiful country sight of Victoria, during my short stint in Australia as a working holiday maker. On my comfortable seat look through the window of the bus, was the greenish hills and lazy herds. Nothing more and nothing less, natural beauty at its best.
Hope they would be able to say, no worries, whenever the inner demon strike...

Humidity is pretty significant of the summer in Shanghai, there is no high ground or water body to release the heat. I sweat a lot for just standing on the sidewalk, around 7 in the morning. Though I have heaps of choices with hostel's cable network. Al Jazeera a must-have, at the eve of Ramadan the German muslim network were doing conference broadcast. And one channel which is based in Hong Kong bashing at communist party non-stop.
