This is just one of hundreds of isolated beaches on the Eyre Peninsula ,The day got better with the sighting of whales ,dolphins and seals.

Took this shot today from my favourite spot, to capture the dawn; I tell you, it was .... cold and it was very windy. Originally I intended to make a couple of HDRs but the wind didn't let me.

This redshank was looking for food in a meadow just along the road. A moment later there was also a lapwing.

Sunrise, a dramatic sky and throw in some clay covered Elephants makes for a magical encounter anyways. Samburu is a dry arid place but this was after the rainy season as the ground turned green at least for the foreseeable future.

Tradescantia cerinthoides is native to south east Brazil to north east Argentina. The pink tipped white flowers and green purplish foliage are appealing features to gardeners. This plant is used in many parts of the world as an ornamental, and can become an invasive species.

The landscape along the river is ever-changing and an ecosystem unique to itself. Between the river and the tree-line of the forest is a different world than either. This is where the River Oats flourish and fallen trees are absorbed back into the soil.
