"Baby go ahead, I'll be your hatred and your pain.

This is killing us all, I don't care if I fall we're the daring, we are the damned".

"Baby, adelante, seré tu odio y tu dolor.

Esto nos está matando a todos, no me importa si me caigo, somos los atrevidos, somos los condenados".

There was a lot of surfactant swirling around on the surface of the water ... it appeared to be framing the reflections of the stand of Scots Pine. I especially liked it when I stood it on its head like this! Hope you like it too.

.....is it real or fantasy,

I know it's hard to tell how mixed up you feel

Hoping what you need is behind every door

Each time you get hurt, I don't want you to change

Because everyone has hopes, you're human after all

The feeling sometimes wishing you were someone else

Feeling as though you never belong

This feeling is not sadness, this feeling is not joy

I truly understand, please don't cry now

Please don't go, I want you to stay

I'm begging you, please, please don't leave here

I don't want you to hate for all the hurt that you feel

The world is just illusion trying to change you

Being like you are, well, this is something else

Who would comprehend? But some that do lay claim

Divine purpose blesses them, that's not what I believe

And it doesn't matter anyway

A part of your soul…

Halloween is all about illusion, in my eyes, with magical beings, who are having lots of fun ;-)

In The Netherlands we know the "Sint Maarten feest"/"Saint Martin's day" on 11 November, something similar concerning the trick or treat.

Children go from door to door with a Chinese lantern or a pumpkin, sing a song and get some candy. I haven't see this for a long time now, so maybe it switched to the "real" Halloween?

Anyway, there are also sick hospitalized children, who aren't able to do this and a few years back there was little project, initiated by a friend of mine, to do something with and for these children.

It was just great!! They wanted to make their own Halloween cards; some could draw, others painted, some wrote words and some just put stickers of pumpkin-faces or witches and skeletons to it.

Then the next day there was a market where everyone(parents and friends) could buy these cards. With that money an outing was organized for them.

So for this Macro Mondays theme "Trick or Treat" I used such a sticker ;-)) This photo is just straight out the camera, if you wonder…….

HMM everyone!!

Found some more information about "Sint Maarten feest"/"Saint Martin's day", if you are interested.

"Saint Martin's day, also known as the Feast of Saint Martin, Martinstag or Martinmas, as well as Old Halloween and Old Hallowmas Eve, is the feast day of Saint Martin of Tours (Martin le Miséricordieux) and is celebrated on November 11 each year. This is the time when autumn wheat seeding was completed, and the annual slaughter of fattened cattle produced "Martinmas beef". Historically, hiring fairs were held where farm laborers would seek new posts.

Saint Martin of Tours was a Roman soldier who was baptised as an adult and became a monk. The most famous legend concerning him was that he had once cut his cloak in half to share with a beggar during a snowstorm, to save the latter from the cold. That night, he dreamt of Jesus, wearing the half-cloak and saying to the angels, "Here is Martin, the Roman soldier who is now baptised; he has clothed me." Saint Martin died on November 8, 397." - WiKi

Monday, January 9: Member’s Choice: Inspired by a Song

This week´s theme where we get to share our favourite music, which is something very meaningful to me, I decided to pick Lady Gaga and Perfect Illusion. That song makes me in such a good mood but also creates room for a perfect macro shot, where you can imagine just about anything.

Here´s the link to the song.
