In 2013 the construction of the infrastructure of the new Maasvlakte II harbour was still in full swing. Here a snow storm was approaching.
Ich finde es so schade, dass es beschmiert wurde, habe mich aber sehr über dieses tolle Werk von C215 gefreut.

Looking toward the Neues Schloss in Stuttgart, Germany.
Schlossplatz is the largest square in Stuttgart Mitte and home to the Neues Schloss (background) which was built between 1746 and 1807. From its construction until the mid-1800s it was used as a military parade ground and not open to general public use.[1] It stands next to two other popular squares in Stuttgart: Karlsplatz to the south and Schillerplatz to the south west. The Königstraße (King Street) bisects the plaza from north to south. The Neues Schloss Palace and grounds have been public property since 1918.
We spent much of the last day packing for the trip home - rearranging items in bags, determining dinner and breakfast from the food we'd bought along the way. A snowy, quiet day also gave time for looking out of the window and thinking, though we did go out for a stroll that afternoon - why waste a good chance to wander a bit?
As promised, here is one more shot of this handsome critter. I could not resist showing both as it is not often I get this good of an encounter.
This ends this series of a morning at Elk Island National Park. Tomorrow, a big surprise, so big I don't even know what I'll post. With weather about to head straight into the deep freeze I may have to start hitting up the archives.
