Yasmin approached me a few weeks ago to see if I would be willing to take on a relatively urgent project, to create her identity by Christmas. Yasmin is a promising young fashion designer, already featured in many publications and has her first range coming out next year.
This is the first of a few ideas presented.
Main wording is set in FFScala Caps, with Relay Black for the tag line.
Fashion designer brands are typically typographic in nature, strong focus on type, with a few designers opting for a mark of sorts. Yasmin wanted her initials as a way to help strengthen awareness with her full name, especially when used to brand clothing etc. We looked at a number of competing brands to gauge which style of typefaces were most common, then I looked to find a font that was relatively unique, but still fitting of a fashion designer

"The brand Yasmin Kianfar is essentially innovative at its core and strives to produce beautiful and strong pieces that are ultimately sensual and feminine. The aim is to resolve fashion's fickle relationship with its wearer by producing elegant distinctive garments that have an iconic and timeless appeal."

Her market focuses on the higher end of ladies fashion.
Logo design for music producer, singer and dj Vika Jigulina. She is the vocalist in the international dance hit "Stereo Love" by Romanian producer and musician Edward Maya, song that won the Billboard Music Awards 2011 for the Top Dance Song.

Isis Parenting was created to respond to the unique needs of expecting parents and new families. When Isis needed a new name (among other elements) that recognized the company’s support of expecting and new parents from pregnancy to pre-school, they turned to Corey McPherson Nash.
The goal was to build an inspirational brand synonymous with prepared parenting. We wanted to show a brand evolution that clearly allows the evaluation of new channels and markets with a solidified message. Logo design for Sepia Solutions, a digital asset management service provider that delivers VOD (video on demand) assets to different platforms. The sepia was build from 2 face to face uppercase S letters. The tentacles are also made from S letters.

Uni project. Started out as a series of illustrations, picked a fictitious company name, chose one illustration and simplified it into an icon, implemented signature/type, applied the logo to three applications (business card, envelope, letterhead) using 2 color process. Hope you like it :)
I'll post the original illustration later. I think I actually have them in my scrap book here, I'm not sure.
