Via- @a_kirstin #repost from @lastof_adyingbreed_ : Just a little history! This is the original "ice bucket challenge". Instead you're doing it to yourselves, history ALWAYS repeats itself. In one way or another. Mike brown body left in the street for 4hrs just as the slave master did the slaves they hung in the tree to place fear in you. In the mist of it all they throw in a ice bucket challenge the same ice they use to pour on your head but you couldn't jump up and down and move then you had to sit there and shiver. 😒 Black people always want to be apart of SOMETHING we just must FIT IN. New flash we will NEVER BLEND IN so stop trying. We were born to stand out for a REASON. Now I challenge on your ice bucket challenging asses to find out that reason you have 24hrs to complete that challenge or donate 50$ to a black owned business. #IceBucketChallenge #BlackPeople #blackcommunities #WakeTFUP #RepeatedHistory
