Un grupo de compañías líderes de alimentación y distribución ha anunciado hoy una importante colaboración con IBM (NYSE: IBM) en el área de blockchain, con el propósito de fortalecer la confianza de los consumidores en el sistema alimentario mundial. El consorcio está compuesto por las empresas Dole, Driscoll's, Golden State Foods, Kroger, McCormick and Company, McLane Company, Nestlé, Tyson Foods, Unilever y Walmart, que trabajarán con IBM para identificar nuevas áreas en la cadena de suministro global que puedan beneficiarse de esta tecnología.
