Well, it’s “Cosmic Ice Dragon Riding a Leaf”, the “Leaf of Hope” to be precise.
I guess what the dragon doesn’t know is he/she is melting and the leaf is dead, but stories have a way of working out despite the odds.
It’s too soon to tell the tale, but I am taking notes and the dragon lives in hope

Maria is nearly 4, going on 5 as she insists. ‘Cos I am a big girl now mummy, right!
And she knows her mind. She likes pink milk, swimming with whales (!?!) and her best friend A***a. She is the same age as Maria and they have a very giggly, over excited relationship – chatting and holding hands a LOT.
Maria also likes her Teddy so much. Oh and don’t forget her Daddy, the other best friend she has EVER! Maria knows what she likes and doesn’t like, and feels extremely, ever so strongly about it. She doesn’t like peppers, numbers bigger than twenty or itchy jumpers. And she will not ever, never eat a chicken.
Maria’s not deliberately difficult...... she’s just working out who she is and where she fits into the world.
And she is far too extremely busy!

Yeah, that day was day.... 43, Saturday. Well, yesterday :)
ANYWAY! I got some amazing karate shots. I am so happy with how may I got and how they all turned out. But my karate instructor, Shihan, had his car break down and his things were in the car when they towed it, so he didn't have his uniform or belt. He had to wear a uniform he had in storage and a white belt, haha. But as he says, a belt is a belt. Which it is. But it's a lot of work to get the rank you hold. It took me seven years to get my second degree black belt and it took Shihan twenty-seven years to get his sixth degree black belt. I'll post some photos.
And uh.. So, I've given up on "Dan". I really don't care what he chooses, haha. It's his life. Do with it what he wants. But there's this kid in karate... He's sweet, funny, easy-going, laid-back, fun, smart, good looking and just an amazing black belt. I promoted with him in November and gave him a hug when it was all over and done with. He did amazingly haha. He deserves his Senpai. But after weapons class, it was me, him and his little brother in the dojo sitting down and talking. I showed him the photos of karate before my camera died and kept talking once Shihan and his mother came. I like talking to him. He's an interesting guy. Geeze, I need to stop taking a liking to karate men =p

after traveling for a while, I just missed the outdoors and the sun. my freedom!
so today i didn't go to work, drove top down to the beach and back, soaked in the california sun, blasted bon jovi on the radio :)
