A box of gourmet pralines from Huize van Wely, after being unwrapped. A very sweet gift from a good and long-time friend of mine; of course, to be shared with the whole family.
The Turkish word 'keyif' means many things, but pleasure is the main one...as a noun, but there is the verb 'keyif almak' similar to 'to indulge'. Many activities are used with this phrase...çay keyifi (tea pleasure/indulgence) not the tea you have with breakfast or at your desk...but the one you sit back and enjoy, perhaps even immerse yourself in. Plaj keyifi, (beach pleasure/indulgence) sit there and enjoy...
Seems to me it is all about taking in the pleasure of that moment, just like this Turkish street cat stetched out on a boat awning enjoying a bit of warm January sun.

Macro Monday theme - Low Key
My daughter knows my favorite spot for coffee and she sends me my Dunkin Donuts gift card for Mothers Day. Every once in a while I indulge in one of their tasty donuts as well.

Sometimes we indulge in things that make us feel guilty but not this time. These flowers have no calories, have an incredible smell are multi-functional and a bargain to boot at $2.49. It doesn't take much to make me happy. Hope you can find some joy in a little indulgence of your own today, if not help me revel in mine.
I wish. I'm afraid I can't have chocolate, so this week's challenge was, well, a challenge for me. I normally pass on sweet food challenges, but I hope these tiny miniatures will be allowed in place of the real thing. I enjoyed arranging them anyway. :)
