One of my illustrations, "Sounds of Nature", is the cover art for the album "The Sound of Her Voice" by RadioactiveSJ, a collaborative project between local musicians in the San Jose. This compilation features talented female-fronted bands from the Bay Area.
Proceeds from "The Sound of Her Voice" will go to InnVision, a leading provider and primary gateway for homeless families and individuals seeking shelter and resources that lead to self-sufficiency. InnVision serves over 25,000 men, women, children, veterans and the mentally ill each year at 25 housing and service centers throughout Silicon Valley - offering 425,000 meals and 190,000 nights of housing.

AUTOPLACER 2018
Durante todo el sábado 22 de septiembre, tuvo lugar la novena edición del Festival Autoplacer, una iniciativa del colectivo Autoplacer/Sindicalistas que cada año celebra la música autoeditada a través de conciertos de bandas emergentes y/o sumergidas, sesiones de música electrónica y la presentación de proyectos relacionados con la autoedición de discos, fanzines, libros, diseño, etc.
Una fiesta gratuita para todos los públicos a lo largo de todo un día en la que disfrutar de un auténtico festival de música… pero dentro de un museo de arte contemporáneo.

AUTOPLACER 2018
Throughout Saturday, September 22, the ninth edition of the Autoplacer Festival took place, an initiative of the Autoplacer / Trade Unionists collective that celebrates self-published music every year through concerts of emerging and / or submerged bands, electronic music sessions and the presentation of projects related to the publishing of records, fanzines, books, design, etc.
A free party for all audiences throughout a day in which to enjoy an authentic music festival ... but inside a museum of contemporary art.

4pm Strum Diesel
Sean began playing guitar and writing songs at 13. In 2008, he entered Second Life as Strum Diesel, sharing his craft in a live unpredictable setting, where listeners can hear what Sean is really all about.

6pm Jamba LosAngeles
Jamba LosAngeles performs music that haunts your heart with a smile. He plays a twelve string acoustic guitar and harmonica. His music has been heard regularly in Second Life since the beginning of SL time. Music that is "haunting in a beautiful way.". Covers songs that you have heard before, but, not like this...
I skipped the their performance at Pitchfork hoping they would come back to a club. They ended up doing Last Splash and Pod back to back. Last Splash to me is one grimy sexy beast.
Knifeville is an indipendent label from my hometown who decide to invest and promote to young musical and artistic scene of this little town (around 12000 people), here there is an article in "friulano" which are also published mine pictures.

A short italian explanation:
"Knifeville è un'associazione culturale nata con l'obiettivo di documentare ed espandere la scena musicale maniaghese. Maniago è un piccolo centro della pedemontana pordenonese, famoso per essere la Città dei Coltelli.
Abbiamo deciso di iniziare a pubblicare dischi quando ci siamo stufati di sentire ottimi gruppi con ottime canzoni rimanere confinati nelle sale prove di Maniago, e sciogliersi senza avere registrato niente. Così nella primavera 2003 abbiamo iniziato come etichetta pubblicando il 7" degli Oslo. Ci siamo poi costituiti associazione culturale: ad ottobre 2004 è uscito il cd dei Le Corbusier, ad aprile 2005 quello degli Oliver e a giugno 2006 quello dei Ten Thousand Bees. La prossima uscita prevista è quella di Arnoux. Oltre ad esportare la musica che facciamo a Maniago, è nostra intenzione importare nella Città dei Coltelli le cose che ascoltiamo e che amiamo. Negli ultimi mesi abbiamo avuto il piacere di ospitare artisti stranieri quali Chris Leo (USA), Califone (USA), Chevreuil (FRA), SJ Esau (UK), Chris Brokaw (USA), Rough Bunnies (SWE) e italiani come Bob Corn, FR Luzzi, Fine Before You Came, Sprinzi, Olek, Threatcon Charlie, September 10th, Marzipan Marzipan, Le Man Avec Les Lunettes.
Knifeville si interessa anche ad altre forme di espressione artistica: abbiamo finora organizzato due mostre fotografiche, una di 500 polaroid di Maniago ("trasformate" poi in copertina del disco dei Le Corbusier) e una personale di Olivier Cimenti (il cui catalogo è il booklet del disco degli Oliver). "
