Spitting Image? Dolphin Statue Fountain "Holds" Setting Sun As A Marble In Its Mouth - IMRAN™
[My 94th Photo In Flickr Explore!]. The 13-years old Nikon D300 paired with the still awesome 18-200 Nikkor lens can still capture some of the most magnificent images. This in itself was one of the most spectacular gold and red painted sky sunsets I have seen at my blessed home in Apollo Beach. The dolphin statue fountain's water flow is caught in vivid detail with light reflecting off and through it in addition to refractions and other effects adding their magic. Like a trained animal the dolphin almost seems to be holding the sun like a marble in its mouth. Tampa Bay, Florida, provides the perfect backdrop for this magical scene which required no editing.

When I took this photo the week of my birthday, last year, I had no idea that something I was doing weekly, flying from one city to another in 2019, would become a distant memory and an almost once or twice a year thing for all of 2020. This was the scene at a New York airport last year, as planes got ready to depart LaGuardia at sunset. I often fly Southwest from Long Island, but out of other airports, I try to also give Delta my business. I had finished a long day of meetings at the Manhattan office and flew straight home to Tampa from New York City.

Sedated K2 Chilling Watching Another Dog At Veterinarian Office - IMRAN®
K2 was given some tablets overnight and in the morning so he’d be chill and more cooperative in having X-rays taken without resisting the physical manipulation needed. He was plopped on the couch but still actively watching another dog across the waiting room.

LaGuardia Runway & World Trade Center Manhattan Before Fall Sunset Yesterday- IMRAN™
It was a complicated day of travel yesterday, but it was great to finally land at LaGuardia Airport. The World Trade Center and my forever American hometown of Manhattan stood waiting in the distance, as the golden hues of already frighteningly shorter cold season days and late afternoons spanned the sky. Thanks to a delayed Southwest Airlines flight my planned quick taxi ride into the city also turned into a nosebleed inducing 2-hours ordeal in rush hour. But, still so blessed to be able to visit my city when I desire.

Orion Orbits Overhead On Stunning Starry Seaside Sky - IMRAN™
The cluster of stars often known as Orion’s Belt is one of the most familiar sights in the sky. It has fascinated humankind for millennia. Who knows if there are living creatures in the universe that also have views of this combination of heavenly bodies. I’m sure the shape would have to be significantly different ... unless their planet happened to be in the same exact linear alignment as our Earth’s position relative to the points of light making up that imaginary figure.
They are all different distances from earth. I was thinking about how the lights from some of the key stars took so many different periods to hit my eyes when I gazed upon them.
Light from one of them that I captured in this image left the star when Jesus was living, 2000 years ago. The light from another of the points is actually from a combination of stars with one revolving around the other every 1500 years. That is about the time since Prophet Muhammad was alive in Mecca.
Just the thought of the cosmic insignificance of our planet and our individual existences sent a shudder down my spine, as did the chilly Florida winter night as I stood seaside at home looking up at the sights past the palm tree. As I clicked the photo on the warm iPhone in the palm of my hand, I felt a warmth in my heart and a fire in my soul....
I got to see these stars’ lights from almost the exact times when God’s favorite prophets had likely looked up towards the stars near their last days on earth. And Allah, the One God, still has given insignificant me, standing alone on the shore on this cold night, on this tiny insignificant planet, to have unlimited powers.... of imagination, thought, and faith.... to achieve anything I dream, desire and decide. God willing.

A View Of The World Trade Center Memorial NYC In 2014 - IMRAN™
The twin towers of the World Trade Center in Manhattan, New York were the closest any man-made structure came to representing who I am as a Gemini lifetime New Yorker at heart. I am happy that the new WTC was built but I have to admit it does not elicit the same emotional resonance from my soul as the original twin towers.
But when I am in the area I do try to visit the area. This was a video I recorded in 2014 as the new tower gleamed in the sunlight. Some of the names of the victims of the terrible day are visible in the video when I turned to the memorial where an original tower stood. The irony of the names of Muslims, Jews, Christians, and many other faiths and nationalities all as common victims of an act of political reprisal against US policies but wrapped in the guise of a holy war.
Twenty years later, it is hard to believe how divided the people of the United States of America are internally.

Thought For Food: Salmon RushDiet: Easy Non-Cooking Cooking - IMRAN™
I’m often in a hurry. I love salmon. I also want a healthier diet. Does that make this a Salmon RushDiet? Oops, yuck. Why would I invoke the name of that fish-faced swine-spawn lame-writer only famous for offending a billion Muslims.
So, as I was writing, I love eating tasty foods of many kinds. But, I loathe regular cooking of any kind. No time. No interest. No patience.
The microwave is my friend. Although I am also pretty good at throwing steaks and black angus beef burgers on a grill. But anything that requires regular cooking and baking are of zero point zero interest to me.
I don’t mind making homemade meals if it doesn’t take time or effort or monitoring or cleanup, or worse, all of these chores. That’s why the air-fryer as well as the slow-cooker are the only other non-cooking cooking I’m willing to do.
Plus, making my own different combinations of marinade for my favorite (and mostly only fish choice) salmon has become something I do often. I can do it in literally 5-minutes prep. That includes creating my own marinade, marinading overnight, air-frying 12-minutes, while I do emails or my French lessons.
Then, (no) boom, no broom, it’s ready. I love the results that for the last few years have been as good as I’ve had at any restaurant.
To mix things up, I’ll throw in a bag of frozen vegetables (or garlic cauliflowers in this case) in the microwave. Those 6 minutes are timed to be completed at the same time as the salmon. Here’s one from last night in 3D on FB at lnkd.in/dFd9BtxU .
