I took advise from all and shot the picture at a different time of day when the scene was less back-lit because I had some glare from the sun in my original photos. I think this gave the photos a richer, more warm feel. You can definitly see autumn in this picture.

I played around with the brightness, contrast, and color balance of this image using Photoshop. I tried to make the light a little warmer (indoor light pretty much always sucks).
